Oakwood Trails Neighborhood Watch Group’s (OTNHW) is a community volunteer group and a direct result of neighbors coming together with a vested interest in our neighborhood and community to achieve a common goal that began in 2011 due to high crime, thefts, burglaries and high rate of foreclosures and job losses causing our long-term neighbors/friends to move out. 

 

OTNHW includes residents, community groups, faith-based organizations, public safety departments, local governmental entities and businesses that work to serve the community and each other. 

 

Our community driven process brings a diversity of ideas and perspectives to foster better communication and understanding overall resources available for residents, businesses and county officials.

 

OTNHW has served as a catalyst for other neighborhoods and elected officials within Clayton County to create similar structure and events.
